OBJECTIVE

Promote ESG adoption for SMEs and mid-tier companies to attract foreign investment through grants.

DESCRIPTION

Commissioned by MIDA to be the data partner for the RM 35 million Domestic Investment Accelerator Fund launched in April 2024 to measure ESG performance of the applicants by using the B Impact Assessment (BIA), the required self-assessment tool for the grant.

OUTCOMES

More than 420 companies started measuring their ESG impact using the B Impact Assessment tool by the end of 2024, and over 10 proposals were issued to SMEs for ESG adoption and gap analysis.
